act 1 scene 7 is all about Macbeth having second thoughts about killing king Duncan it tells you why he says what if the plan fails and ”we will proceed no further in this buisness…” and when he says that he is talking about his second thought because if the plan fails Macbeth and his wife will be put on treason for trying to kill the king.
lady Macbeth reacts furiously because they have been working up to this occasion because she really wants to become queen because Macbeth is next in line for the throne so she can rule the country with her husband. But instead he refuses to go on with the plan. She is also furious because Macbeth has killed people in war with no fear but he cannot kill Duncan so she says he is coward she also says ”but screw your courage to the…” so she referring to his courage from being strong and mighty but now into a weak powerless fly so as she says that she is now hating hime

You show some very clear understanding of characters and their interactions. Do you think the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is particularly strong? Why?
Do you know the term personification? It means to give an object or thing human qualities. Why would Shakespeare personify ‘courage’ in your last quotation?
